For a $5 entry fee, students and their parents were treated to a host of games including blackjack card games, Texas hold‘em and roulette. Families had a chance to test their knowledge of each other in the “Know Your Raider” game. Participation in low stakes gambling was not compulsory, though thrilling, some entrants preferred to relax and enjoy light meals and drinks offered on this occasion. 5d2l5x

Monte Carlo Night was a new experience for both volunteers helping organizers, and parents visiting campus. The community councilor for the Honors Dorms and biological sciences pre-med sophomore, Chardonay Brown, learned blackjack tricks.

During Monte Carlo Night a possibility was given to buy basketball game tickets at a discount, as well as having breakfast with President David R. Hopkins. Parents also took part in meetings and presentations, that provided them with information affecting their children.
